Update: It's partially working. After I remembered to move the jumpers back to use the internal clock the floppy will start seeking for a WB disk now, but still no image on the monitor. In fact, instead of the horizontally spaced blue bars I was getting before through Amber, now I don't get an image, but the monitor constantly refreshes and errors with out of range errors like: H: 90khz V: 114hz and other frequencies that make no sense.
Could the fine-tuning pot have gotten nabbed by corrosion? What is the specs on this part? Chris Last edited by chfriend; 09-24-2012 at 09:15 PM.. |

That sounds like good news. But what is it that's working? An Amiga of some sort I presume.

Oops - My Amiga 3000 - I thought I hit the reply button. That will teach me to post when I'm tired. Can a Mod merge this with the Amiga 3000 kaput thread in the hardware forum or change the title?
