Default Fs: A4000

Okay, this is my pride and joy machine. I bought a video toaster A4000, and it's been with me for a long time. It's survived half a dozen of computer "consolidation" actvities, and I really wanted to make it into something neat/cool/awesome/spectacular but I never got around to it. I also had a A1200 that got thrown away when I lived at home. Anyway, after years of hanging onto this machine (and paying a ungodly amount of money for it) I'm ready for it to go to someone who will make it work again:

Now, I dont know if it works (the guy took the battery out who sold it to me) but it's all there....

It has these cards in it :
* Video Toaster 4000
* Flyer Card
* Faroudja S-VHS card (It's called a Y/C Seperator Card)
* CDRW Drive
* Some type of quantum drive in it.

I dont know what its worth, but I have around $900 in it. I just really wanted one of these things for the longest time, and after my A1200 got thrown away and the A4000 never got fixed up (cant even find a A1200 these days) I'm just ready to cut my losses and move on.

I really want something like $200 for it, but I dont know how much its worth.....

shoot me your best offer, I dont want to give this away, and I know it worked at one point, but I just need to give this to a new home that will fix it up and enjoy it for me.

I just know I paid way too much for it. I guess $200 was too low. I'm just needing money for wedding stuff

It does have a superbuster (i have no earthly clue what this is ). It should have a 68040 (this was a later machine), and its got all of the cards I mentioned previously with the cables and such.

I do NOT have the keyboard/mouse or the octopus cable for the Flyer. Those, got thrown out by my parents when I lived at home.

I know this is somewhat of a rediculous low price, it did work, but I dont know anything about it since I couldn't ever get the right timing to either afford or (when I could afford it) find the AGA upgrade VGA chip.

I have some CDs, including OS 3.9. I used to have the ROM chips, but I dont know where those went to. I may have them at my parent's house.

I have problems with "PM"...my e-mail is:
wa9yoz@arrl.net
Drop me a note.
Tony

I am NOT the seller of the A-4000 to clarify things. I just posted a message regarding my problems of sending "Private Message" or "PM". Sorry for any confusion.

I'm extremely sorry for being un-responsive. For some reason PMs aren't going to my main email address ....For that I'm sorry. There's actually a overwhelming response for this thing....I'm moving down the list. I'm not the kind of guy looking for a ebay auction for this thing or making a million bucks on this, so I'm going first come first serve. I'm really sorry I haven't replied till now. I'll work my way down the list.

BTW I'm updating my email address now.
