DOTC for Android would be nice. Its one of few games which should be playable on touch screen.

If a company has beg for money to start a new project, you can pretty much bet it will not fly.
In the case of Wings, this is a shame...

Cinemaware is not a developer like EA or other big companys. The Videos where paid by ourselfs and many work "behind the scences" is done with help from friends of the team.

Not familiar with Kickstarter then? ;-) That's kind of what they do..
And there are different levels for success (or there should be).
You don't have to be EA or BioWare or whatever to be successful.
One of the things I am hoping will come out of Kickstarter will be a much better "niche" market or whatver you want to call it.
Back in the day, games were very successful if they sold a hundred thousand copies. Now, you can't get a game made if it would do that, even if it's a good game.

They are doing a PC version, so not totally. They are starting with an HD version of an existing game (ala the Leisure Suit Larry kickstarter). But I would think that new content would be likely, depending on success of this or not..

I'm a fan of these type of games, so I'll support, even tho this is an HD remake..
Fingers crossed..

Yes, because there is *SOOOOOOOOOOO* much money here in Amiga-land.....

There's a reason that game companies don't give two sh!ts about the Amiga anymore.

As a person involved in the current market of iOS game development I will offer this one piece of advice. UNITY. If you make the right development choices now you can develop the game for all platforms but using one system which outputs source code for Android AND iOS for example. Don't limit your platform choices as you did before with the NEC PC Engine CD ICFTD based push which ultimately led to the end of Cinemaware in the 90s due to shift in consumer demand for Sega/Nintendo consoles instead.

I wish you all the best with the relaunch, I own many of your old games on multiple platforms (C64 conversions which were even more amazing that Amiga originals, Amiga of course and Atari ST, also DoTC 256 colour digitally remastered edition CD for Windows PC too).

Sad but true, if I did my own donation page to kickstart development of my Amiga games I would probably end up with 47 cents or 31 pence (which would not fund the purchase of even a used Amiga 2000 machine to continue coding my 3D textured arcade game haha)

PS I have a question for Cinemaware

Did you receive royalties or paid for use of the licence/IP for Wings 2:Aces High on the 16bit Super Nintendo console?

Wings: Director's Cut will be developed for different Platforms. Like iOS, Android, Windows PC and MAC OS.

Nope, this was an unofficial release by Namco this time. But at this time, cinemaware has ceased to exist.
