Hi everyone !

I'm a heavy WHDLoad user nowadays and encountered quite a few issues on some of my favorite titles.

I would like to try to gather as much information as possible on the titles that have issues in order to figure out what is at fault : the user, the machine, the game or... the slave.

What about sharing our experience in order the make the best possible reports ?

Let me begin with those I can remember right now... My setup is : A1200, roms 3.1, ACA 1231@42 MHz, 64 MB, Lyra 2, regular 2 buttons joysticks, PAL 50 Hz.

#1. Virocop AGA : latest slave : switches weapons automatically without my wanting it. Seems OK with an older slave.

#2. North & South : the second player cannot shoot and move at the same time. (also, second joy button support would be awesome !)

#3. Jim Power : foreground flickering once in a while.

#4. Battle Squadron : CD32 joypad support causes the 2nd joy button to quit the game sometimes (back to title screen) when used with a regular gamepad. Works OK with a former slave. --> FIXED in slave 1.7. (Unreleased fix available from the bugtracker).

#5. Fighting Spirit : when 2 buttons mode is enabled, jumping triggers the fire button. OK in 1 button mode. --> FIXED in slave 1.1 or 1.2

#6. Bobo : doesn't seem to catch the input.

#7. Obsession / Pinball Prelude / Pinball Mania : doesn't work with the Lyra 2.

#8. Roadkill : depending on the version used, sound doesn't work (trashed) OR the second joystick button doesn't work. By mixing several slaves / games versions, I managed to get it to work properly.

#9. Snow Bros : no 2 players mode ?

#10. Lionheart : 2nd button doesn't work.

I assume you use latest stable WHDLoad or current beta ?

Yep, I tried both of them, sure. Well, not every possible combination ! But I know a couple of them were reproduced by some friends. My intention is to warn whdload slaves developers in the best possible way.

Of course, I could just file some bugreports on mantis...

Edit : well, actually, most of those bugs are already reported on the bugtracker, either by myself or by others. I guess the problem is the lack of manpower to fix them. Well. Kinda makes this thread less relevant ;-)

try playing advantage tennis on any accelerated 1200 ...on my 030 feels like im playing nadal ..ball comes back before even finished serve ..
