Im not affiliated with the seller at all, but the ACA cards are excellent. And for a classic amiga, 64 megs of RAM is basically unlimited memory

That's a bit over the top isn't it?

Brand new ACA1231@42 with a faster CPU and built in clock curcuit is only about 45£ more at Vesalia (in stock).

Doesn't sound too extreme to me..
It's not like the ACA1230 is OLD.. ;-) It's still pretty new..
And the 28 is not what I'd call slow. (It's what I have, and I'm happy with it..)

Price high or low? That's a personal call...
But "over the top"? Naw, that ain't e-bay pricing..
Besides, he didn't call it ULTRA RARE! ;-)

ACA's are great cards, and I love my 28.
(And the clock circuit is only a few bucks...)

(p.s. Just noticed the "PayPal Gift" part. My personal (IMHO) advice is never buy anything using PayPal Gift. Too much risk. Just add a bit for the fees and ask for regular PayPal. PayPal Gift is a problem waiting to happen, with no recourse for the buyer..)

Exactly, Paypal gift for purchases is as bad as Western Union money transfer.

I think all websites who allow people to sell items should ban the use of Paypal gift requests as it is a problem waiting to happen.

It is still for sale, have sent you a PM

@Digiman

The paypal gift isn't compulsory, I don't mind either way as long as fees are covered.

Well, that seems a little paranoid, and which entity should enforce this rule?

You really think this seller joined this board 10 years ago and posted over 700 posts so he could one day defraud someone over a low-end accelerator board? If this was the sellers first message, then I would see the cause for concern...

For me, the question is:
Why not add a few buck to the price (whatever to cover the fees) and ask for regular paypal?

I don't see any benefit in asking for PayPal Gift...

The fact that someone has been here for years is a good identifier..

I never said he wasn't trustworthy.
But for me, if I wanted this, I'd ask to pay a bit more and use standard PayPal.
