Well djnick, the update has been out for more than a decade. It is called MorphOS. It will solve your problems and do everything you asks for in that thread, and a lot more!

MorphOS is Amiga done right!

Sounds like the Sana2 driver isnt installed. You need the ariadne install disk.

Alternatively, you can use MNI drivers instead of SANA-II. They should have been installed along with Miami. I think one of them supports Ariadne.

I know MiamiDX has a built-in MNI driver for the Ariadne as IIRC it's the same driver the X-Surf uses. Does the card show up if you do a hardware scan? Does it show up as working in early startup (hold both mouse buttons as you power on)?

According to early startup its there and working. when I click "Showconfig" it shows up but when I do the MNI scan it can't see the card

Like I said install the Ariadne Sana 2 driver, try to use that. MNI should work (thought only hydra, 2065, and xsurf had mni drivers)

Maybe the MNI driver is only for Ariadne II? At any rate, SANA drivers are here.

As Chris said, the MNI drivers for Ariandne and x-surf are the same one.

Query the device with the driver and it should show up.

MNI is the faster choice, all you need to do is query the device and it will work.
