Hi:
I want to connect my A1200/Bppc/BVision/Subway... to internet using an usb Nic with Poseidon. I've tried with two different cheap ones. With this that I thought was supposed to work: http://www.ebay.es/itm/330491953676 I get this: ![]() And this: ![]() And with another one that I've got now installed I've got this: ![]() With this last I get it connected "automatically" with OS4.1, but it goes very very very slow. I know it's working 'cause it dettects it, and I can search EAB in Google.... but I think it will never open it...very slow. In OS3.9 I've got no idea which device to select and how to get this working. Any help? ![]()

The subway won't be fast enough for a pleasant use of an usb ethernet adapter.
The first one you show does not seem compatible anyway. The second should be working with dm9601eth.device unit 0, as the class is loaded by Poseidon. PCMCIA NIC or any PCI/ISA/zorro ethernet board if you have a zorro bus/Ateo bus/Mediator or GRex bus would be much better.

usbdm9601eth.device (unit 0) is the device to use in Genesis or Miami and you're gonna be set.

On my computer, it is just "d9601eth", no "usb".

Oops you're right mate:
I mistook it with asixeth.class. pegasus.class-> usbpegasus.device asixeth.class-> usbasixeth.device moschipeth.class -> moschipeth.device dm9601eth.class -> dm9601eth.device
