Default wb sort icons

Hello

I have a hardtime sorting icons and getting them to stay that way the next time I open the window.

I have tride sort, cleanup and they arange the icons fine. But they are not that way the next time I open the window.

Help newbe...

Which is your system? perhaps your icons have the activated protections, for example write, under WinUAE with icons and programs from Windos there is this problem, or when you copy the programs with icons from Windows, because there is this problem, WinUAE recognizes the protections but always actived them.

It's on a real A1200 with wb 3.1 and ClassicWB by Bloodwych v24

On 3.1 and below:

- select all
- unsnapshot
- close window
- open window again
- clean up
- select all
- snapshot

On 3.5 and above:

- cleanup by name
- select all
- snapshot

You probably forgot to snapshot.

And this only works with real icons, not with "show all files" dummy icons. Dummy icons are ordered by name anyway.

Thanks, did not find unsnapshot, but snapshot all. Then out of the windows,
Open window, sort, then snapshot all workt.

And I selected all icons first
