Default Bit of a cheeky request for spare/cheap DigiView

My Digiview for A1000 is no longer working BUT I want it to work dammit!

Does anyone still have the original white rectangle A1000 version of Digiview they would like to sell me for a small price? Would be greatly appreciated and you will get a mention in my new game's credits too

If I dig deeper into my stack of boxes, I'm sure I might be able to come up with one also...

Indeed it is the one SAVE2600 showed as the A500/2000 printer port is incompatible with A1000 (gender and wiring).

Think Magnetic has left here now, serves me right for not keeping tabs on this!

I am in the same boat. My Digiview for my A1000 has flown the coop. I, too, would love to have one if some one can help.
Please?

Did you ask NewTek if they would fix it? They'll repair your VideoToaster if it goes wonky. Why not their other hardware?

Hi,

@digiman,

Don't know if I still have one, but used to, will have to go through my Amiga Junk and see if I can find it.

Will have to go up in the attic and see if it is in one of my 200 hundred old computer parts boxes. These are all large moving boxes when I moved from Florida up into the damn yankee land of pennsyltucky (pennsylvania) Land of the largest dishonest bunch of crooks in the world, even worse then those darn Scotts don't you know. Come to think about it Pennsyltucky is mostly populated by the Irish don't you know, can't blame the Scot's for that one. The Irish don't have no luck, they get them pesky little leper people to do all the stealin for them.

OOPs lets get back on subject, will try to get up in the attic sometimes this week to look, if I don't remember just catch me on a post and remind me. Last time I was up there I found my Snappy, bet you all don't know what that is?
And by the way Kicky modeled for it.

smerf

Put a note on my keyboard so I don't forgets. Hope it works.

So anyone actually got one spare? Desperate enough to conside A500/2000 with A1000 specific gender changer(tested and working.....my A1000 is worth more than the sellers health )

The Snappy was the digiview from Play, where kiki and other newtek folks went plus investors like wil wheaton.

BTW, there was an official genger changer from newtek too for the digiview.
