You can get DOSbox for the handheld console GP2X, I presume you only mean the protected mode 32bit DOS games via DPMI not Win32 applications too?

yes, I want to run Steel Panthers for dos. I do have some old Pentium 3 around.
I would like to find something mobile. Net book I guess. Handheld would be nice.

OK had a look at that game and it looks like a C&C style interface to it.

Looking at the release year of 1995 on Home of the Underdogs it must run on about 100/120mhz Pentium.

GP2X has I believe 200mhz pair of CPUs but then these aren't x86 they are ARM processors (GBA, Acorn Archimedes) so not sure how well it runs such Pentium class games given x86 emulation. PC x86 DOSbox isn't even that great for anything above 486 games like World Rally Fever on a low end P3/P4 in the Gigahertz.

On the other hand may I suggest a cheap Toshiba Libretto which is a fully functioning laptop the size of a Nintendo DS Lite...imagine a DS Lite with one screen and a keyboard a la standard netbook. A 30CT with no sound is about 10 bucks these days, a 70CT with 120mhz MMX Pentium and 16mb about 20-25 bucks.

Hmm, bought a £60 chinglish netbook the other day. Its annoying and fun at the same time! Runs on ARM, runs CE. you remember CE?, windows 95 used to hang around with CE to make herself look good, even though she herself was a munter. That tells you all you need to know about CE!
