The Mediator has been around for over four years now, so you can hardly accuse Elbox of "dumping" the Mediator now something else has come along to replace it.

Just take a look at all the advances made elsewhere in the last four years...

This pretty much proves to me that the Dragon isn't vapor, and will actually get released.

Mediator PCI 1200 LT4 + MM CD for £104.64 is a very tempting offer, but A1200 tower cases seem to cost an absolute fortune.

Think i'll wait to see if ACK actually deliver the goods with the PPC card that will fit inside a desktop 1200 first.

This is Amiga market. Elbox did a great job with classic. Good hardware, fast support, a lot of drivers.
My Mediator is my best Amiga bought after the AmigaOne/OS4.

Awesome. Now if they got their act together with Hyperion for AOS4 on the Shark everyone, specially them would benefit very much from it.. I'd surely buy one for my A4000.

I can recommend the 4000Di fully. I paid about $40 more during one of the specials last year and even at the higher price it's been well worth the money. Right now I have a Voodoo3 3000, RTL-8129 10/100 NIC, Hauppauge Win-TV Go, and Sound Blaster 128, as well as a Kickflash OS4, all in the desktop case. It's a great product.

Ugh! I broke down about a month ago and bought a Mediator ZIV for my OpenPCI projects. (Yes, OpenPCI support was suspended, but a little Googling and. . . .) I could have saved myself at least $100!!! Especially considering Elbox's sketchy USD/EUR conversions. Son of a b--. I wonder if they'll refund the difference. :-/

I recently bought a 2nd hand Mirage3000 + Mediator 3000D but I have a small question. Dp I really need to USE the Voodoo card to be able to use the Soundcard or can I continue to use my CV64?

why not build your own tower? it's cheaper :-)
