Must be a typo. Should be 49,90 Euro.

At first I thought this was an 040 accelerator card (the MHz confused me), but seeing it as an 030 made me wonder if the price tag is correct!

Comparing with some laptops here shows how insane the price is; http://www.samsunglaptop.co.uk/products.php?cat=2

Way overpriced. I bought a Harms Professional accelerator (a newer model) for a fraction of that price a year or 2 ago:

I checked your blog and saw you have a Viper! ... is it too much if I ask how much it has cost you?

I had a Viper 520 which I sold recently with the minimegi chip chipram expansion for £150. Not that much less than I paid for it brand new over 10 years ago! Part of me regrets selling it as it truely is one of the best bits of Amiga kit I've ever owned.

I think I paid the handsome sum of 400 euros for it in 2007 on eBay.

EDIT:
That's for the Viper 530. The Viper 520 I got for 150.

PS. The funny part is that this card is USELESS because it's missing the proprietary FastRAM expansion and if you're a true Amigan, you know very well what an 030@40Mhz or even 50Mhz looks like when it has 0KB of FastRAM: like an original 68k@7.14Mhz :-)

EDIT: Just noticed that mongo picked up on the no FastRAM bit. Good eyes my friend!

(*) Esoteric joke. Read the forums and ye shall be enlightened.
