Default A1200 tower conversion

I plan on 'towerizing' A1200.
Would any standard 'full tower' PC case have enough space for A1200 motherboard? (with PCMCIA card?)

I'm particularly interested in Chieftec CA-01

You can save yourself a lot of work cutting out new holes for the A1200 ports by paying that little bit extra and getting either a D-Box 1200 or the EZ Z4 tower case from Amigakit

No mess, no fuss :-D

Those big towers are a bit problematic. Yes they do have enough space vertically but often there is a metal bar running horizontally over the ATX motherboard where the PSU is located, you need to saw this off, or remove it in any other way.

The best way is to completely remove the backside and create a new back custom fit for Zorro slots and Amiga connectors and then position the PSU at the top or rotated 90-degrees.

It is a lot of hard work especially if you want it to look good afterwards.
