Default HEEEELLPPP my keyboard...
Hi everybody,

finally I've received the A1200 I've bought on ebay, but here come the troubles:

everything appears to work fine except for the keyboard.

The keyboard does nothing when I press the keys, also the caps lock key seems to be dead.

But when I press the reset sequence CTRL + Amiga + Amiga the computer...
...well, resets and restart.

What the hell is going on???

I really can't figure out

Either the green keyboard membrane is defective or the ribbon cable is not seated correctly in the white keyboard connector slot on the motherboard.

I think you also have sticky E, L and P keys... ;-)

Ok!!! I've solved the problem, thank you again.

It was the green keyboard flat cable that wasn't fully pluged into the white connector

So you had the U-571 problem: "white for green". ops:
