So I just picked up an A1200 with a 1942 monitor and I realized he forgot to bring the Amiga video adapter so now I can't even play with my new Miggy! Arrrg. :boohoo:

Do you guys know of any place here in the US I can drive to go pick up that adapter. Or is it one of those hard to find, obscure Amiga deals.

I need the 15 pin to 23 pin adapter. :boohoo:

I was thinking something more general. Like: go to radio shack or something. I'm in Northern California if that helps.

Just checked Radio Shack website, they don't have 23-pin D-plugs. They are pretty difficult to get these days.

A couple of years ago, it was quite easy to get these :-(

Were 23-pin D-plugs/sockets ever used by anything other than the Amiga?

for the moment until you can find the cable, use an rca to rca or rca to scart to connect amiga in a tv set from the rca video out at the back of the amiga

and no, I don't have anything I can take apart to build one. The dude said he would look around his house to find the adapter for me so I guess I have to wait until next week.

Hellz yeah it is an old monitor but I can play games with it without a frickin $200 scan doubler. ;-)
