WANTED ! Amiga 3000 JEDEC Files U202/U203
Hi !
I have a strange heat problem with my Amiga 3000D. So i need new Chip's ( U202/U203 ). The old PALs was ( 16L8DNC ) and i want to burn to new GALs 16V8. But i can't burn .pld files ( GALEP-IV prommer ) so i need the JEDEC Files. Has everyone the JEDEC Files from U202 and U203 or can everyone convert the PALs to JEDEC ? The PALs have found at "The Dave Haynie Archives". http://www.thule.no/haynie/systems/amiga3k/pals/newsys/ Sorry for my bad English... Best regards, The_Killer

As far as I know you have to compile them to recreate a JEDEC file suitable for the GAL or PAL model you will use. AMD (I believe) had a shareware compiler a way back... sure can still be found.

@hppacito I have taste the Tool's PALASM, WINCUPL, OPALJR... but i don't understand it ! Can erveryone convert the files ( u202.pld, u203.pld ) from "The Dave Haynie Archives" to jedec ? Kind regards, The_Killer

Hi,
I could probably convert the files but I doubt I will be able to anything until the weekend. What manufacturer of PAL device are you using? What is the part number? This helps me to compile for the right device, if I can. Ian |

Thank's for your help but i have the Jedec Files and programmed it to "GAL16V8D-10LP" and now i taste my Machine.
At this moment i can say it's run very stable without any problem ! :-) The ROM's with the converted Pals to Jedec now are: - U202 - U203 - U714 The one that i need to convert is the "U701". Kind regards, The_Killer
