Can anyone remember the Reality game creation suite? They used to have a big quarter page advert in the back of CU Amiga, month after month (probably around 1996 time). The advert was very convincing, said stuff like "buy the Reality game creation suite, and you get an Amiga games creation manual free, not only that, you get to join our ever expanding user group of Reality users. If that's not enough, we'll also send you a ten pound off voucher for your next Reality upgrade disk". Or something like that. It had "skeleton" disks which were basically games that you could alter and customise and pass off as your own. But you couldn't, because it was so buggy you'd get pissed off with it and throw it in the bin. I bought it you see, I think it was about thirty quid. I was expecting a big boxed package with at least colour manuals and guides and things to get my teeth into. Instead I had a few sheets of tiny-font instructions and some dodgy disks (some with read errors) in a jiffy. Wasn't very happy, I can tell ya.
Anyone else remember this thing? Anyone else buy it? Anyone have success with it?
