I just saw the EC on the cpu, I don't think I'll change it now... but if I wanted, could I ???

Yes, you'll need to solder a crystal, and of course the processor. Best would be to solder sockets for both. If you're handy with soldering equipment, the crystal socket is pretty easy, the processor wouldn't be terribly difficult either, with a little patience.

IIRC the 75 MHz '060s are all FPU-less, so just replacing your 50 MHz crystal with one rated at 66 MHz (and adding cooling to the existing CPU) would be a good upgrade.

Yeah, good luck finding one in Greece, unless you live in Athens...

Anyway, where did you get the 060 btw? I'm looking for one to test a cyberstorm I have here.

Redrumloa probably has one, if you don't mind ordering overseas.

You might also want to get a 60 and 65 Mhz crystal as well, in the rare case your proc crashes at 66 MHz.
