Though the supreme court of Florida had ordered her to extend, which wasn't unduly unreasonable considering that the Republicans had bussed in a crowd to intefere with the recounting in Palm Beach and delay it.
Hand recounting was applied inconsistantly in Florida with Republican counties getting more time.

And she completely delayed the certification until November 26th as the State Supreme Court asked. Noone got more time, everyone had until November 26th before they votes were certified, again, you are starting to believe myths even though you lived through the event. And the teamsters bussed people to all the recounts and I can assure you that there money goes to the democrats.

2) It was her job as called out in the 1983 voting act to scrub the list of felons

A troubling law in itself since people who have served their time are supposed to get their rights back and in most states do. (Well, perhaps HAVA has changed that now).

If a law is wrong, then we should change it, not disobey it. Its funny the law was enacted by a Democratic Governor and and a democratic house and senate, yet the Republicans are the bad guys in your mind, because they want to enforce the laws that are on the books.

3) Your 50,000 number is one of those great myths you love to quote.
|
The myth is saying it didn't happen.
|
No the myth is that there were 50K scrubbed. A list of 12000 was given out, of which 8000 were immediately removed from it. So we have 4000 on a scrub list that the 6 largest counties didnt use, so its going to be pretty hard to get 50K, but I have an interesting URL for you, which shows you where your mythical 50K really comes from.

The NAACP sued Harris and the State of Florida and won.

Actually they sued Katherine Harris and 9 democrats, the state of florida agreed to a better vetted list (which they had announced before the lawsuit),[...]

But which they still have not produced.

The NAACP disagrees with you on that, but thanks for playing.
It wasnt 90% wrong, 3 counties who used the list show an average of 15% wrong and most because the people had pled down to a misdemeanor (and thus didnt lose their voting rights) or had there rights restored as part of the voter clemency process. Its interesting that the best example that NAACP had of someone who was inaccurately scrubbed from the list is a man who confessed he hadnt got the letter saying he had been scrubbed from the list, because he has moved and hadnt told the voter registration board (which makes it technically illegal for him to vote in the state of florida). Gee got to make sure those illegal voters arent' scrubbed. Of course then we have Miami-Dade whose own paper pointed out 500 felons voted illegally in the election (the majority registered democrats).
