Last night, listening to Blair talk, alongside Bush, I was moaning to my g/f about what a complete bumboy he's become.

I was saying, "wait and see, he'll start using rhetoric about 'staying the course', etc"

Not two seconds later, he did exactly that. I then went on to predict about twelve phrases he used, all of which were empty bush-style rhetoric, with absolutely no substance whatsoever.

Am I the only one disgusted by this crawly-bum-lick excuse for a leader we have?

He mentioned mass graves (again).
What do you call to football fields, filled to the seems with several hundred dead Iraqis, the majority of whom seem to be guilty of nothing more than living in Fallujah?

Blair - the longer this goes on, the more vile he becomes.

He's even describing people as 'evil', which is pathetic.

While I could just about stomach that, in a kind of anyone but Blair way, it would only be marginally better than Howard, who in turn would only be marginally better than Blair.

Why? Because all of them were in favour of this fiasco.

The only way I'd be satisfied with another Labour term would be if they made Robin Cook leader. He's the only senior member with any integrity.

The only major party with any integrity are the Liberal democrats, who stated right from the start that this farce was all wrong.

It's a sh1te state of affairs.

Can't vote labour because the entire cabinet are accessories to mass murder.
Can't vote tory because they supported it.
No point in voting Lib-Dem because they'll never win, despite being the only ones with any integrity.
No point voting SNP because they'll never win either, despite opposing the invasion. At least if they won the Scottish vote, we could distance ourselves from the terrorists in London. But they won't.

And no, there's no point voting Scottish Socialist because even if they scored 100% of the vote up here, we'd still be ruled by some Westminster murdering c*nts, eith Tory or Labour.

I'm beginning to want to leave this godforsaken excuse for a country.

My countrymen disgust me.

It's not really "screwing democracy". You have a choice and you're using it. The only two (legal) ways to actually "screw democracy" is to A: not vote, or B: "vote .... because that's who you've voted for in the last x0 elections" :-)

I'll be voting tory next time round, not because I like them, but because they're the only party that stands a chance of getting rid of Labour.

Anyway, Gordon Brown has hinted at being employed elsewhere (some international money organisation IIRC, can't remember exactly what).

I'd say that is just plain stupid. You do not or should not expect anything from voting. It's not your business what actually happens with the voting process (why else do you think voting is secret?), it's your business which party you think it's representing you. At least, that's my opinion.
