Default Any news on the new Indivision mk2?

To satisfy my own curiosity and add a real Amiga-related thread... is there any news available on the release / availability of the Indivision MK2 for the Amiga 1200 and/or 4000?

I read on EAB that a release was foreseen around March/April 2011 after the A600 and A1200 accelerators...

If you checked EAB you should have seen Jen's last thread then:

...or if you're bored enough to click the link...

There is no release date yet. Please monitor the news, and please don't ask me (or the resellers) for a release date, as it's just taking up valuable time.

Sad really, I don't think there are alternatives that work well outside of finding an old ruddy monitor.

Where is the sad part?
If you mean about the delay... welcome to the Amiga world
Jens will release the board for sure. Till then... either try and find an Indivision 1200 (eBay/Amibay or by asking in general) or just use you old trustful RGB --> SCART, Amigamaniac's RGB --> S-VHS etc...

I actually did read up on EAB before posting - but took 4 days to post... Jens commented on June 10th - which I had not read! Anyway, it seems he is working hard on it... I hope Natami doesn't take all my money before he releases the new Indivision

We stocked the Indivision 1200 and 4000 for around two years - the production came to an end and now we are awaiting a replacement.

In the Amiga world, it is best to buy things when they are available as waiting can mean that you eventually pay more on Ebay for a second hand item.

Quite often we see items we sold 6 months ago re-sold without warranty, second hand for much higher pricing.

In the real world, a lot of people aren't just sitting on money to throw at Amiga stuff when it's released. Sadly, this is a true story.

It does seem, though, that Jens has a good feel for this and plans a second model/release after the first dries up.

As it is for me, I'm putting coin together to get my CSPPC fixed.

I understand that of course. To be fair to Individual Computers, the Indivisions were available for quite a long time, we had them in stock for over two years.

Hopefully it won't be too long - I have an Indivision 1200 which a friend bought me - just before they became sold out everywhere - it's a brilliant piece of kit - Will definately think about buying one or two more when the new versions are available.
