The dates for AmiWest 2011 are October 21-23, 2011. Reserve these dates
right now for this year’s show.

We are already working with the Holiday Inn Express, our new venue as of
last year, to provide booking for this year’s rooms right now. Watch this

I heard last year some people were not allowed in. Will AmiWest be excluding attendees again this year?

Should be in the Midwest like Minnesota so people from all over the US can have a chance to drive there.

Any chance AmiWest 2012 could happen in the Summer? I haven't gone the past few years because it's too hard for me to get time off from work in October (especially that week in October).

Funny you should ask me. I wanted the show dates to stay on the last july weekend as that was the roll out anniversity. In the beginning the brits wanted that same weekend and vendors were torn between that show and amiwest. But others complained of the heat in Sac during the summer Chuck and Brian were convinced to change the date.
BTW, now Brian (as club president) and Chuck (all around good guy) make those calls.
Please ask them about show details.

I now just attend (if I can)

AmiNorth / AmiCentral / AmiEast could be held in the spring, opposite of AmiWest. If I'm involved, my push would be to happen during my spring break so I don't have to worry about skipping classes. I think that kind of separation in time would make it easier on visitors and vendors.

Hey all. I was hoping to do some shooting out there and have been trying to contact these guys for weeks, to no avail. Really weird. Does anyone here know the guys at AmiWest and could pass a message along for me?

Contact the President, Brian Deneen via contact email address given at the AmiWest blog or on the official AmiWest website. (you do know how to use google, I assume)

@Firedawg,

If you need a ride from the airport to the hotel, let me or one of the other SACC members know and I am sure we can pick you up (not sure if the hotel has a shuttle bus to the airport in Sacramento).

@ Dave. Yeah, Ive been doing that. Contacted three of them and even left a voicemail with Brian Deneen. Not sure what to make of it. Maybe theyve been out of town?
