Default Who on Amiga.org have you met in real life?

I've always wondered which folks on here actually see each other in the real world?

I'll start:

TheGoose is an old friend of mine from High school. He lives about 15 minutes from me
so we swap Amiga parts all the time.

I met Tone007 once when he drove down from Virginia to pick up a bunch of classic gear.

I've talked to TheMagicM on the phone a couple of times.

I'm not sure if any of the folks I met at a NC Amiga user group meeting lurk on A.org since they are mostly OS4 users. I think LyleHaze over there is the one guy I met.

I met A4000_Mad when I bought an A4000 from him a few years ago. He wasn't a member at the time. I also met bloodline when I saw Radiohead at Victoria Park. Blimey, that was 2 and a half years ago 0_o

If I ever end up on the other side of the pond I would like to have a beer with you guys!.
I'm sure Bloodline & I would have a lot to talk about since were both Amiga, AROS and Logic users.

Yep, met Moto! That was great, lovely sunny day too, but also can't believe how long ago that was... :-/

@spihunter, if you do end up over here, we could arrange a meet up (an drag Moto along as he is into Amiga, AROS and logic too)

“Socialism" is no more an evil word than "Christianity." Socialism no more prescribed Joseph Stalin and his secret police and shuttered churches than Christianity prescribed the Spanish Inquisition. Christianity and socialism alike, in fact, prescribe a society dedicated to the proposition that all men, women, and children are created equal and shall not starve.” - Kurt Vonnegut

Well, I know a few people here pretty well. In no particular order, Andy, GadgetMaster, Nicholas, the_leander are part of the original "amiga.org curry night" crowd (Of those, only Andy is someone I knew before coming to the site, we go back many years). I used to see Venkman on a regular basis years ago as we happened to be on the same course. I've also met FluffyMcDeath a number of times when he's popped into the UK visiting family not to far from where I live, each time on one of the aforementioned curry nights.

A few years back, I went to a couple of amiga meetups in different locations and met other characters more than once too, like BobsonSirJohnny (the man that helped inspire the whole ASCII fiend episode) and various others whom I'm afraid I forgot (but would probably recognise if I ever bumped into them again).

Good one.

Yup, spihunter helped me fill my car up to the brim the time I drove down there. Who else..

Stopped by motrucker's place a couple of times to pick up/drop off stuff.

Arkhan lives on the way to my in-laws place so we've met up a couple of times to transfer hardware.

Met gklinger, Dragos and Amigoat (and probably some others) up at World of Commodore 2008 in Toronto.

Then there was blakespot and a couple of other people I've met up with locally (they don't post much and I can't recall their handles) to transfer some items.

That's all that comes to mind at the moment. Sorry if I forgot anyone!
