Curious if anyone used or is using the original SAM at 400 MHz running Amiga OS 4 ?

Or have you the 533 MHz model?

Or does one need the 667 or faster SAM in order to use OS4?

Interesting that very few used SAMs are offered for sale ebay and elsewhere.I would have thought the early adoptees would want to "move up" to newer,faster ones,based on comments seen here.

Or were there only a very few SAM 400/533 ?

I have a Samflex@800 and I love it..especially since I found glUAE which lets me play my beloved Deluxe Galaga AGA, Super Stardust AGA and my ECS/OCS classic too If you are looking at getting a used Samflex I would recommend looking at the the classified sections over at amigaworld.net and Amigans.net as there are quite a few people selling their Sams now in order to buy the new AmigaOne X1000

oh also I would stay clear of the Samep (non flex models) as they appear to be underpowered for most new recent ports coming out now and lack video ram (64Mb) and many new apps/games are wanting more

no problemo..I'm not sure about overclocking Sam ep boards but you can email ACube as they are pretty good on responding to questions via their homepage
