Default OS4 & G-Rex

has anyone got os4 running with a G-rex actually still installed? Ive installed it but it doesnt boot so im wondering if my only solution is to take out the G-Rex and all my cards just to get it to boot. If thats the case well I guess I will never boot it then. Because theres no way im gonna undo all that work when MOSPup runs so sweet.

@ DJBase

I think it should at least boot with a GRex installed, though, even if none of its cards can be used. There's a program on the CD or boot floppy that's supposed to detect the presence of a GRex, so it knows about it to some extent.

@ LawlessPPC

Since you were able to get it installed, it must be possible to at least boot the kernel. Can you get to OS4's early boot menu?

Well, I don't know, I don't have OS4 but if this option is available then it should work or boot into AGA at least.

not tried the early boot menu 1 thing i did get was the new roms screen so maybe that an indication. I know it doesnt support G-Rex and probably never will. I will try a few more combos in next few days in fact i only dug the machine out again to query what djbase said about terratec.

By the way DJBase if you have some form of im software perhaps i can help with the terratec situation give us pm if this is helpfull

Not knowing all your details, I have to ask, are you sure it's not booting? Maybe it is, and it's using a graphic driver that doesn't work on your Amiga, and you get a blank screen?
