Amiga Marketplace This forum is here so that members can alert other members to Amiga items they've seen on eBay (or other auctions). If you are selling Amiga items on eBay, you might let us know about them here. Likewise, if you're selling Amiga items sans eBay, this is the "for sale" forum.

A4000t.

I like where he says "if" the price goes above $500, he'll throw in a "free" DKB3128! Yea right dude... the DKB3128 alone would probably sell for that much on 'wepay'(ebay). $500 is probably just an opening bid on this one.

Default "Floppy disks not included, only in picture for illustration."

What exactly is he illustrating by including not-included disks in that composited picture? Would have been faster to not have pasted them in there. Lame.

Eh, I'll second that. Why show floppies?

He's just trying to make his ad look fancy. He would have done better to skip the crap at the bottom and do a nice shot with the whole tower, kb and monitor in the frame, that way he could pimp the cleanness of the case. Nobody cares about the floppies that they aren't going get.

He'd also do better to take a nice close up pic of the battery. Just immagine how somebody would feel if they paid like $1,000 for the machine and they pop it open and see a bunch of frosty crap all over the motherboard.

Don't bet on it! I know this type of battery is not supposed to leak, but I have a 4000T that the battery had fur all over it when I got it! Thankfully it hadn't hurt the motherboard...

Yes I know I was really looking forward to putting in a good bid (around £400 - $800) but the prices went insane!

Heres the link to the item:

Holy hell! A 4000T/060 just went for about $660. Seems more reasonable, and in fatter times I would gone for it.
