I've been using a program called Imagedesk for viewing the pictures on my digital camera. You select a directory and it will display all the pictures as thumbnails, then click on one to view it in an external viewer. Only thing is, its incredibly slow at loading jpegs and displaying the thumbnails (especially on my A1200 020 28mhz). It can catalog files to make thing load quicker second time, but whenever I add new pictures I have to go through the same slow process.

I've heard that JPEG files created on digital cameras usually have a thumbnail embedded into the JPEG file itself, so you can view the thumbnail without having to load and decode the whole file. Are there any programs on the amiga which allow you to view the embedded thumbnails in jpegs?
