What about the SAM440EP-FLEX COMPLETE CUBE SYSTEM (mini cube desktop model)?
That's the one I want to buy.

So why don't you manufacture a new system from scratch that will run AmigaOS4.x for a better price ? And then provide great customer support and i'll bet you'll come to the conclusion that ACube are Amiga fans first and foremost and hopefully a little profit is gained to support the next model :-)

But then again it's easier to criticize from your arm chair eh

Seems like a good price to me considering the cost of a PPC board.

Pointless sarcastic comments don't add anything to the thread.

I am tempted but I doubt m wife will allow it :(

Not their fault your exchange rate smells.

Wish I could trade some of my 1998 hardware for one.

Good price, likely half of what I paid for my EP when I bought it new.

Hopefully the 460 boards get a price cut soon, I'm very interested in one of those but they are still a bit too steep for my tastes and my 440ep still gets the job done well.

You are not allowed to be sarcastic? You really need to stand up for yourself a bit more!

Hey, that's less than I paid for a used AmigaOne G3 600MHz. Not bad.

Hey, where's TMHG? Usually by this time he's reminding the whole world why it's beneficial for us to buy mac mini's instead. So how many G4 power macs can one by for the cost of one of these...

I hope he's not sick. I'm getting worried.

The trouble is that much slower 1998 hardware, i.e. CSPPC and BPPC, often sells for far more than this.

Good to see the price drop lowering the cost of entry to those that are interested in running OS4.

Great point that comes up ever time OS4.x hardware is mentioned.
The cost of those old PPC cards for the classics keep going up due to the demand and the slowest Sam system will run much faster than the fastest PPC card.

Still shocks me the bidding wars on EBay for the PPC cards!

@ Kesa

I was wondering the same thing about our friend Piru :-) odd they missed an OS4 related thread.
