AmiBench is back!

After a long period of hibernation, the original Amiga marketplace is back online. We've got a new developer on board, so expect a lot of new features over the coming months, as well as an updated look for modern browsers.

Yay! AmiBench is back online. Used to be one of those sites I'd check every single day way back, glad to see it back online and looking just as it did before.

Please don't update it too much, it's simplicity was half of it's charm!

From my memory they decided to close the site due to a lack of progression with the site itself and Andrew (Techno) Wilson had pretty much left the Amiga scene.

Of course I could be wrong on the above, but I am quite sure it was something like that.

P.S this is my 1000 post!!!! :-)

Blast from the past. I sourced so much stuff from amibench back in the day, buying stuff from other amiga people was almost always a pleasure, unlike on ebay.

Is this site closed to certain countries or something? The link has been dead for me since the news was posted. Never seen it work.

I like the site as it is, but would like user registration and elaborate rules and guidelines asap, for everybodys protection.

Any plans for a lightweight version of the site-to-come, as well as the jiffyed up one ?
