Hi! The problem was with the buffered IDE interface not allowing OS4 to boot properly. I replaced it with a 2-way IDE cable (44-way on the motherboard, two 40-way going to the HDD and CD-ROM, custom made by Amigakit) and it worked fine.
Apparently after installing you can edit some file to allow the buffered interface to work, but I didn't bother.
Hi, I read a thread about you having problems with installing OS 4.0 on classic 1200 with blizzard ppc. Is your solution the drive cable. I have the two drive cable on 1200 with ppc and have the same problem. Any suggestions? thanks

I've almost finished my lego EFIKA case. I've built a lid out of lego plates and attached it with lego hinges. I just need to mount a case fan (for the gfx card), finish mounting the ports, and secure the mobo.
Uni is pretty rubbish. I'm really fed up with it at the moment. I can't wait to qualify so I can start practising! What are you going to study?
