Yes it is hard to get people to move to Denmark. The danish state is hard in that area. Do you still have family in Denmark? i still think it is funny that i live 2 miles from where you used to live

I was born and grew up in Denmark. I met a lady from the United States, and since I didn't really have any debt, and spoke English, it was easier for me to move there, than for her to move here (also, courtesy of "dansk folkeparti" they had made it much harder for people to move to Denmark)

We ar eplanning to move back within the next 4-5 years, if all works out well.

Dont have it yet. I might have gotten a deal for an 060 card for my 1200, so I may go that route first, and then see from there.

    Hi,

I use MiamiDX, you can download the full package off Aminet.

    Also

    See http://www.fatcat.vispa.com/keyring/

So my wireless card arrived today. Took a while to get it set up, it doesn't help that the last time i had to manually configure this stuff from in the windows 98 days.
it works remarkablywell though. No images for web browsing as Idont have a proper jpg datatype installed, but that keeps the speed pretty good.
Other than a few freezes upon launching it, aweb is pretty usefull. I couldn't find the demo version of Ibrowse anywhere, so I'll have to look around more.

Placed my order for a wireless card through amigakit. Just waiting now for the order to be processed.

This puts me one significant step closer to being able to go all out amiga.

In the meanwhile, I also realized that there's an amiga version of Colonization. So I guess this will be an excellent chance to play this one again.

So I guess the highest expression of amiga use for me will be to write a game. The plan:

A text adventure. I remember having messed with those in BASIC back in the day, and it wasn't too hard. Not having to worry about graphics will help as well.

Got two of my friends enlisted to assist, and a pretty nifty basic concept.

Tools?

So far, the preliminary choices are:
Amos professional for coding it
Deluxe paint for creating a...

I originally set this plan as a new years resolution quite a while ago. 3 months now that I look at the dates, but it feels like eternity.

A lot happened in life in that time, a lot of changes in my life that were overdue and are now coming together.

With a pretty good bonus check coming from my job in February, along with my birthday, I should be able to finish out the last few bits of hardware I am after (Squirrel SCSI and an external CD ROM, along with the internet...

My accelerator card is now making its way across the atlantic. Fedex insists it will be here tomorrow which would be a merry christmas indeed

Along with it are a set of 3.1 ROM's.

A big part of my computer time, particularly in the evenings, tends to be spent on playing games. Luckily the amiga has a ton of them. More importantly, I will be able to find and play games in almost every imaginable category:
Racing games, sports, fighting games, platformers,...
