I had to figure this out with bits and pieces of information found on the internet last week when i decided to replace the HD in my Amiga 600 that I had just bought.

So I thought it would be a good Idea to write a mini-HowTo.

When my Amiga 1200 arrives I will probably swap the harddrive as soon as possible and reinstall the OS, because I think it comes with a german system and the HD is only 170MB. That will give me a good opportunity to document the whole procedure....

I bought an Amiga 1200 on ebay today.

Just a standard amiga 1200, no extra ram or accelerator, I've already ordered that separately from Amigakit

The seller was very quick to respond and I made the payment so he will be shipping it today!!! Don't know how many days for shipping though

Update: The seller did manage to send it today so now it's in the hands of DHL, hopefully it's here early next week.
