Ok so I got my refurbished Amiga 1200 from Amigakit, it looks FANTASTIC!
So nice, white and shiny =)
But I haven't gotten around to testing it yet, I've had lots of other stuff to do.
-getting started with Blitz Basic insted of AMOS
- bought a new LCD that according to spec could do 15khz, but as I suspected it didn't work. Could be that my DIY Amiga->VGA adapter is to poorly made. I will order one from Amigakit. Anyway the screen can do 120Hz so I will keep it and use it for 3D vision in the near future.
- Made the above mentioned VGA-adapter, it Involved destroying one of my A520s (think it was broken anyway) to get a 23-pin connector.
-Spent hours of research on the video output of the Amiga.
-started Cleaning up the mess of cables in my PC. Decided to make all the cables custom length and cut out all power connectors that I'm not using, shortening cables to fans.
