Hi
On WEF meeting in Jordan, there is an idea about US & Arab (Saudi, Qatar, Oman, UAE, Bahrain) sponsored massive land reclamation, water desalination and investment project in Israel.

This will bring benefit:
* Solve land problems for both Israeli and Palestinian.
* Creating new jobs.
* Promote peace and cooperation in ME.
* New lands for Palestinian refugee in Arab countries.

What is your opinion about this idea?

Nothing in this area works. Doesn't matter what idea anyone has, both of them will mutually decide upon something to ruin it.

It's a start. Water itself is a potential powder keg. But as T_Bone says, there are too many extreme-righters in Israel and too many Fundamentalists around it, and someone's going to do their best to start trouble.
