Now, nobody really wants to admit that he's mentally defective because it creates too much cognative dissonance. Nobody wants to believe that the governance system they live under and depend on is so screwed up that it could result in a moron becoming the leader.

So, why is Bush the Prez if he's a moron? Because Rove and Cheney are NOT morons. Bush is sort of Cheney's human sheild. Cheney and his neo-cons plot and scheme and wreck the country and then stand behind Dumbya and say "how can you so criticize this nice man?".

IIRC, that pic of Kenny was the end result of queueing in crap weather for a stupidly long time for a student ID card photo. It's easy to understand the expression when someone shouts "smile!" after all that :-D
