I am starting to wonder if all of this is a joke. I've been a regular reader (every day) of amiga.org for years. Now I registered just to say something. The old look was professional, while the new one looks.. well.. like something is installed and not configured at all.

Come on! The new banner is not good! Two gradients, an icon with a bevel filter and a stroked white font? And you're all going "Whohoo! Much better". What's the world coming to? Why don't you just use the old banner?

I think the News page is much improved since the upgrade.

However, I used to just go to the home page and see the news stories and the recent posts. Now, however, the news items on the home page often do not contain one complete sentence. That's just not enough to decide to read more or not. So now I have to go to the news page and then go to the home page for the recent posts.

Improvements are definately being made, but for my needs use of the site is harder than before the upgrade.

The .org itself is much better, the design is still undergoind major changes aFAIK.
