or was he just running from his wife? :-P

"I'm on flight 201 to Morocco. I've been captured by al-Qaida, they want me to do something for them. I love you, I just gotta do this."
I wonder how this will play out?

Investment banker, is that some kind of rhyming slang? :-P

I can't get to your url (sign ups suck and must die), but I'm sure I'll hear of it elsewhere. Sounds crazy. And he'll want back to his wife once the FBI catch him. :)

Raw, from the AP:

U.S. Flight to Morocco Diverted After Security Alert, AP Says
Feb. 20 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. authorities diverted an Air Maroc flight carrying up to 82 passengers from New York to Morocco after receiving a security alert, the Associated Press reported. The diversion came as a missing investment banker was reported to be aboard the flight.

The Boeing 767 was diverted when U.S. authorities received a bomb threat, AP said, citing Mark Hatfield, a spokesman for the Transportation Security Administration. Federal Aviation Authority spokeswoman Holly Baker said she didn't know of a bomb threat and said the flight had been diverted because there was a person on the plane who presented a security risk, AP reported.

Eddie Rizzo, a Chicago-based private investigator, said missing investment banker Zubair Ghias phoned his family from another passenger's cell phone before the flight took off, AP reported. Ghias's family hadn't seen him since Saturday and had hired Rizzo to trace him, AP said.

``I'm on flight 201 to Morocco. I've been captured by al- Qaeda, they want me to do something for them,'' Rizzo quoted Ghias as telling his wife, AP reported. ``I love you, I just gotta do this.''

Rizzo called the phone back, and the passenger confirmed the flight's number. Rizzo then alerted the FBI who questioned Ghias's family, AP said. His account couldn't be confirmed, AP said. The FBI said no-one would be available to comment before Friday morning, AP said.

The flight landed at Bangor International Airport, Maine at about 11:15 p.m., where passengers were disembarked, AP reported. The flight is expected to fly on to Morocco early on Friday after refueling, AP said.
