Hi all,
Is anyone here having the latest version of exult, an amiga enigne for ultima7 ?
The authors page was not updated since 2000 and download links are broken.
If you have it, just send it by email.

No thanks Lempkee, someone on amigaworld pointed me to a link from where I can get exult.

BTW : how easy it is to install ? Do I need a pc to install it first ?

exellent games this is (2 games in ultima 7) , but if you play it via mediator or in p96 , remeber to select a NON pc mode screenmode or else the gfx will look trashed..

for the link , check amigaworld and its exhult thread and go to lost treasuresFR and download the files, thats why i did , as the files around the readme i found wasnt on the server..., anyway its easy to install, just a few click and its done.

shame there aint a ppc version ;(

http://www.amiworld.it/giochi/port/port.html

here is the amiga port , without the data files , the amiga port has a nice gui and very easy to work with.

anyway the game is free so every abandon site should have it , and its also on the EXULT site so just do a few searches :)

Lempkee:

Thanks. The game I have in its original form, both Part I & II... so that is of no issue... =)

This will be interesting... to say the least...

legerd: pc version? , i never bought any pc games as i never cared for pc (as i am 100% amiga) but i did buy the scumm games (lucas) so i could use em in warpscumm :)

i will check ebay as maybe there is CD VERSIONS of ultima 7 1 and 2 ? or?? ...

anyway its pretty decent on the miggy but g2xsai mode is horrible slow so i wish we could get an PPC version of this port, should be easy enough..

anyway i complete a few puzzles and i must say ultima 7 is just as cool as ultima 4 but better than the lame ultima 5 or was it 6 :) i dont remeber :)

cheers

pps:i dont understand how people could have missed this port , its like 2 years old if not 3!!!! , been on amiga since then...sadly not been updated since then either...

pps:i guess 060 is required to really enjoy this game... in its orginal form..

g2xsai would probably require an pegasos or an a1 ...
