I have a question for you Franko. Why did you troll so much on Amiga.org and upset all the mods? You had protection from me at first but you upset all the moderators, made Red quit, made Wayne quit and others almost quit. You are a smart person so why be this way? And now you have your own forum that is a complete empty ghost town. Your cob webs are showing! Was this your intent from the beginning? To create yet another Amiga forum? Too many of those already for this small community.

Agreed 100%, I wish Franko could bring himself to do this instead of just trolling against the hard working moderators here! He created the problem himself and just wants to find a way to blame others for his problems.

Yeah the same 3 people on Franko's side meanwhile probably over 100 that cant stand him. Wayne will never be back especially with people like franko making it a playground and cry for attention.
As far as Red goes he is a loyal true old skool amigan and just because you disagree with his support for a company doesnt lessen his status.

No, it was after that, all the idiots were accusing him of being a shill simply for agreeing with Altman and he decided that since there was no reasoning with them he might as well start actually being one (think he actually made a post to that effect, IIRC.) :/

Do you have any idea what red's been up to lately?
It isn't promoting or using CUSA hardware.
These days I'm more likely to run into him over on MorphZone.
And hes still asking (and occasionally answering) questions that cover topics we all have a common interest in.

Ok! guys time to bury the hatchet Franko is guilty of having a dry Scottish humour I know because I,m from the same part of the world. I dont agree with personal insults being bandied about by members its pretty immature if you ask me (You too Franko) theres no need for it. When we get to this level of personal abuse and slagging one another its time to take a step back take a deep breath and then speak. Remember the old saying "Speak in haste repent at leisure" I,m pretty sure Franko said what he said in anger without thinking it through so lets all chill out and move on.

the few things I have read about him suggest that he flip flops more than the footware of the same name.
But I agree that Franko should be brought back. I remember the whole argument that initally got him banned anyway. If one can be brought back from a ban then the other should be too.

First, Dave Haynie is a living amiga icon and should be give the respect he deserves. Not only that he's a cool guy.
Second the ONLY reason I got banned was due to that fool Franko RUINING AMIGA ORG i made a stand against him (some one had to) I got many thank you emails from people for calling him out BTW. There are many "lurkers" here who still care for amiga but people like Franko and his juvenile supporters dont realize the harm they do.

This thread, amongst others, reminded me to ask: I know you can ignore users, but is it possible to ignore entire threads so they don't appear on the front page when you visit?
Yes, one could ignore a thread by not opening it, but I'm looking for a way to keep the front page limited to relevant Amiga topics and not what I might consider irrelevant or other silliness.

As much as I think Franko is a prat, why did you let him back on if your going to ignore his initial question and accuse him of trolling on Moo. When you let him get away with as much on here for months?
As a moo regular I already know what a lot of the cr@p he posts but I find him easy enough to ignore, but I also know that an email from you prompted this re-emergence (hopefully temperary). If he was lying about that why is he back on here so you have validated his claims about you/tedd.

I,ve been a member of Amiga.org for quite a while I dont come on very often simply because of a few and I stress a "few" pedantic ****s on this site who set themselves up as know it alls who look down on other members that seek help. This my friend is not the Amiga way and so I Lurk about the site from time to time, I do not condone any member who slags off anybody on a public forum. I do ask though why was Franko invited back on to the board. This would seem to me as opening up old wounds as for supporting him I remain neutral he was wrong to slag off anyone and as I said its time to move on.

Yes, I always thought that it was a cultural thing.
However it is unfortunately too easy to have a few too many beers and go too far on sites like Moobunny. Back in the Blue/Red days I was guilty of the same thing, myself, on ANN and later apologised to the person (people) involved.
Perhaps Franko should apologise for the Wayne comments (and I guess now, the Tedd comments!) and maybe then, we could all move on. :-)
Too much drama.
How about people just be normal and talk about Amiga related interests.

Agreed.. you just have to read any of Franko's contributions on that site, and it becomes clear what a nasty and vindictive piece of work he really is.

I gotta ask, since when do posts on Moo warrant more than a second glance? Moo is Mos Eisley.
From the little bit on this thread, it pretty much seems to be a bunch of hurt feelings and petty vindictiveness on both sides of the aisle. Transition doesn't want his name out there? Whatever, his prerogative. How it comes ACROSS to everyone is out of his control. Wayne gave as good as he got, and isn't some little boy who got knocked down on the playground by the big fat bully. Franko can be a donkey's behind.
Transition, either you tried to sell Aorg to Franko or you didn't. Who cares. Either your name is Ted + a word for a big treasure ship or it isn't. Again with the who cares.
BUT A.org != moo. Moo is the wild west, A.org is not. That is the only advice I can give. Moo is good for about two things these days - watching hl get drunk or thierry go off his meds. A lot of us liked Franko (mostly the english types minus some floridians). Something to keep in mind. Also, bringing back magnetic and not franko? May as well bring Doomy back as well. Just sayin'. Drama brings back the suckers...er...patrons.
