Received an email from Joe @SoftHut and he said he was out of GVP-M A4000 products, including the 4060DT but is expecting new stock to arrive from GVP-M sometime in March.

Very cool. I held onto a little cynicism last time news like this came up, and I was gladly not disappointed. New Amiga hardware is always great news.

Check this out on Doobrey's homepage, it sorts out the issue with SFS/PFS not installing in the RDB on these GVP '060 accelerators.
http://www.doobreynet.co.uk/amiga.html Check out GVP tekscsi patch (http://www.doobreynet.co.uk/files/amiga/tekscsifix.lha) to fix the bug in the EPROM.

Thanks Doobrey for finding and fixing the bug, this has been a nightmare for most users of these cards.

Weren't they principally put together from spare parts?

Yes. I bought a Spectrum from them that looks to be newly assembled from old stocks of parts. Works great, though.
