Off-topic: from AmigaOS4.1 Classic Users

Why not offer an upgrade for those who already bought os4.0 for classics? Many have asked so far and been ignored. One reason... "GREED".

there is a performance issue but i seem to be the only one to unlock it,this is why i have the fastest Blizzard card in the world.

it will for sure now go quicker but its not about that,its about reducing errors at high speed,most of this has been found & fixed.

It is actually a good thing to have people that are interested enough in the Phase5 & DCE boards to figure out how to install faster PPC's on them. ok im going to let out a little bit of my project.

Blizzard PPC why is my card faster.

i have the faster simm. why are my simms faster? there hand built. in other words without getting to technical.

in a overclocked state not all DRAM chips overclocked the same. too reduce errors in my system each single chip is checked one at a time. iv found not all overclock to the same speed.

Ok get technical then, I'd love to know just how fast yours is compared to my lowly BPPC060 @ 60Mhz/240 Mhz with 60ns RAM... :)

Naw nothing as interesting as a snicker bar incident, really didn't like OS 4.0 that much, not much to it, and when 4.1 came out, I really was feeling like a pirate, so I decided to buy it, just to support one of the few companies sticking around to bring something out for the Classic Amiga. I know it is not Cloanto's Amiga Forever, or is it AROS, or the elusive MorphOS, I mean it probably even isn't comparable to OS 3.5 or 3.9, but I feel that if I support them all one of them will eventually break the barrier.

and besides,

my darn power supply gave up the ghost and took the HD with it. So now I installed a CF drive in there and can have as many different OS's as I darn well please, and all I have to do is change a CF to the OS that I want to use.

From a strictly linguistical point of-view you might be right. On the other hand, that'd also mean there's only two languages spoken in Scandinavia: Nordic and Sami. As we all know it's a bit more complicated than that, let's just leave the status of Scots where it is. ;)
