Syaffii Maarif, chairman of the moderate Muhammadiyah organisation, which claims to have 35 million members, said the corruption long endemic among Indonesia ruling classes was radicalising the country's "impatient youth", some of whom vented their despair through terrorist attacks.
And how many times has Syaffii Maarif called for peace and not invoked radical measures? This is the Islamic two step. Say you are a man of peace and preach Jihad.

I suspect that many countries in Indonesia's posission (indemic corruption in rulling classes etc) right now may in the next year or so boil over into revolutions, though I think that Tibet might go up before Indonesia does.
