Nothing prevents you from using the same icons on OS3.9, you just need to install one of those hacks that improve icon support, like AfA or PowerIcons.

I'll say these sure look good. I have been looking at getting an old Mac Mini and looking at Mac OS, and it is just junky lookin to me compared to this work.

They're not in the same visual style as normal OS3.x GlowIcons anyway.
