In my short time here I seem to have been caught up in a wee bit of controversy on a couple of occasions... :eek:
I'd like therefore to suggest that it may be a good idea for Amiga.org to have some sort of virtual car park, where members can step outside and sort out their differences like fully grown mature adults. Just like is traditionally done in the pubs when two otherwise normal & sensible folk have one too many and a little dispute erupts, which is then sorted out with the age old phrase "care to step outside in the car park and we'll sort this out". :)
It could be a simple online bare knuckle boxing game, or one with all sorts of nasty and evil weapons for the opponents to hack each other to bits with, or failing that a simple debate between the two participants, where each battle it out until a winner emerges, without the fear of being banned from this great site. You could even have a members vote on who's winning and sell some tickets and popcorn at the same time. :)
Seems like a good way to me to put an end to petty differences and the participants can shake virtual hands at the end and go back inside and have a quiet virtual pint & laugh about how silly it all was in the first place. :biglaugh:
