Internal feature incomplete beta of Aladdin 4D 6.0.0.4 came out on May 13th, 2010.

Per the link below Aladdin 4D 6.0 Stable release 6.0.0.6 (Internal Beta) came out on July 12th, 2010.

So seriously: did Discreet FX abandon this project and the few trusting souls who tried to support it? An honest response would be appreciated.

Aladdin 4D 6.0 development is ongoing. One thing that bummed us out is sales of 5.x have pretty much dryed up. Maybe this is because everyone is waiting on 6.0? The major new feature of 6.0 is multi-platform so no need to wait for that if your are interested in the application. More sales would encourage us believe me. I honestly wish 6.0 was already available but sadly it is not done yet.

One of the sad problems is that Aladdin4d 5.x is available in pirated form (I think I've seen it in "The Zone" of a certain Amiga forum). C'mon people! I don't care if you have tons of abandonware on your hard drive, just support companies that still develop applications by not pirating them. Aladdin is useful and not expensive.

I would have bought a version of 5.x from you guys it I hadn't already bought it the very month it was sold to DiscreetFX (from Nova design) when Nova Design had their big sale.

I will definitely be buying 6.0 when it comes out, though.
