Woot!

Switched it on... couldn't find Workbench 1.3 Disk... spent 10 min just watching the Kickstart screen listening to the drive click :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

I found my WB1.3 disk but it's mashed :-o and the Extras disk is full of read/write errors (when tested on my A1200)... so It looks like I'll not be using the A500 much :-(

I have an external supra memory expansiuon for the a500 that has 1 meg fitted thats doing nothing.If i was you try disksalve on the disks and try and recover them. :-)

The WB disk is mashed, as in potatos... :-(
I tried Disksalv 2 on the Extras disk but only a few of the files were recoverable, some Amiga Basic programs that is all...

I only have a copy of wb 1.3 myself last time i looked on ebay they were making 3 to 4 pound and more i want to get some genuine disks as long as dont cost to much.

I do have an a600 with workbench 2.05 if you have workbench 2 i could send the rom to you for nothing if you dont mind workbench 2 instead of 1.3.

I also have a roctec exeternal hard drive that has 1.3 installed and 8 meg of memory you can buy that from me for 20 pound including cost of postage.

That you for the offer, but I already have a couple of 600's, I want the A500 as a reminder to how I got into computing so it has to be 1.3.

I have recieved an offer of a German 1.3 disk, that will do for now :-D
