Hi all,
I tried again Sam Jordan's UAE PPC WarpOs port 0.8.12 and would like to know if there is a collection of conf existing (like in winUAE) for amiga.
I know I may not have enough power (BlizzardPPC240/060+BVPPC) but I was able to play speedball2 with sound and would like to get more speed without spending too much time.

I've been searching for a PPC version some time ago, and I ended up with "UAE Amiga-PPC/WarpUp 0.8.11 R1.0". It's a command line only executable, so you have to create your own config file, or import it from a 68K version, which has a nice and versatile GUI.

Any chance having a PPC-UAE version with GUI ?!?

I've downloaded and run the UAE 0.8.6 PPC Version (http://files.back2roots.org/t/AmigaUAE086_PPC.zip), with an Arexx MUI-based GUI, but the uae.elf file is not executable, even if i set the protection bit properly!

I have the following libraries versions:
warp.library 5.1
ixemul.elf 0.58
and other kind of ppc software runs fine (WOS: memprotection, terminator 2, Nopatch, fallback to videoaddress E0000000)

Works fine but you spend a lot of time adjusting conf files to make it faster, thats why I asked if there is collection available.

@ Wishmaster : where can I get the uae gui from ?

I find it quite simple to optimize these config files. Just decrease sound frequency (11025), decrease screen resoluton (320x256) and increase frame skip (10 or more). I like playing Testdrive2 very much with this config.

It doesnt seem the rexx GUI is fully compatible with the newer UAE found on the link on this thread... It works with an older WOS version but thats a lot slower than this version. If I could code id knockup a GUI for it but I cant so.... hope someone else takes up the challenge though :-)
