SAM440 Bounty has been assigned to Dr. Michal Schulz. Initial deadline is July 4th, but will be changed to reflect six months after delivery of the SAM440 motherboard to him.

Is Sam shipping? Does it run Linux?

Yep! According to Acube Systems website (http://www.acube-systems.biz/eng/hardware.php) Sam is available. I'll guess if you want to buy one you'll have to buy it directly from Acube.

Sam runs a Linux distro called CRUX PPC. There is a news article (http://cruxppc.sunsite.dk/wp/news/45) about it on the CRUX PPC website.
