Hi, Folks!
Maybe someone can help me on this one:
Whenever I try using the 68060 library from the
MMULib package instead of the original, I get
a 8000000B guru after rebooting from RexxMast.
I temporarily deactivated RexxMast but the next
program in my startup-sequence gives me the same
error, which is BatchAssign.
My system consists of: A4000 Cyberstorm PPC with
68060/604e, Kickstart 3.1, OS3.9. Setpatch has
version 44.38. TIA,
Scholle

Did you run the setup script that comes with the package that sets up the MMU tables for your machine?

No, I did the installation manually - like always. But maybe I should give the install script a try...

If you have a Phase 5 board, do you have "Libs:mmu/P5Init" installed?

@KennyR: Hm - the install script left me with the same error.
@xeron: Libs/mmu/P5Init is installed - version 40.4

Hmm, strange. What about the 68040.library? You must use the THOR version of this too, the dummy one. Although, if you used the installer, it should have put this in for you too...

The docs say that I have to use either the original 68040 dummy (from P5), which is 748 bytes in size, or the 680x0.library. I chose to
stay with the old one, for I also had to patch Setpatch if I wanted to use the 680x0. None of the supplied .pch files works with my Setpatch.
So the choice was easy...

I'm using the Phase 5 dummy 040 library with the MMULib 68060 library and it works great on my Cyberstorm MkIII... it really sounds like you did everything right :-?

Yes, it certainly does sound as if you've done everything right. But the guru you're getting still looks like a CPU exception when the 68060 hits an instruction it doesn't know and there's no library activated to trap it.
