The answer to the problem of wanting a full-size keyboard, when the device in use is too small for that, has been found:
a light-projected keyboard (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/in_depth/sci_tech/2000/dot_life/2326077.stm)
Canesta, from Silicon Valley, has designed what it calls an integrated projection keyboard for mobile and wireless devices.
Basically it's a keyboard made of light, which heralds an end to the days of those working on the move having to lug around numerous gadgets.

That's a cool gadget.
> I presently just speak to my desktop computer.
Well, my bedside lamp speaks to me - it usually tells me to go out and murder complete strangers but luckily my microwave oven explained to me that the lamp is nuts. So I just ignore it.
Usually. ;-)
I can't begin to imagine how arse it will be to type on that! Think of it....you don't feel when you're pressing anything.
A sort of 'dummy' foldable/cloth/stuffed keyboard on which the light keyboard will be projected might be the solution? :-D

Don't listen to the microwave, it's only trying to confuse you. Look at what would have happened if Donnie Darko hadn't listened to the 6' tall humanoid rabbit. The plane engine would have killed him. The lamp knows something. :-P

Dust cover makers are going to be put out of business :-o
Then again they can just change with the market and make dust covers made of light;-)

>Light keyboard.
The keyboard is great for Chinese / Japanese / Asian users. There are thousands different symbols on Chinese / Japanese written language.
A local billionaire is famous for his "bent over" secretary joke. He often use the back of his secretary as portable desk for signing important papers. Perhaps he will use the back of the secretary for the light keyboard! :-)
